EFCWA Hope Academy was founded in 2006 by the Lord using Pastor Titus Davis and his wife Dorcas Davis for His Glory  right after the civil unrest in Monrovia.

Philosphy/Objective

 EFCWA Hope Academy was established believing that all children are created for God’s Glory and endowed by him with alienable potential to acquire wisdom and knowledge. Hope Academy covenants with families to equip their children to become responsible servant’s leaders of the 21st Century committed to the truth, discipline and values of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
The School pursues this aim by mobilizing educational, church and community leaders toward the important goal of serving the children of Liberia with remarkable education, permeated with a God-Centered perspective.
This inter-denominational school seeks to unleash to kingdom citizen who works for justice, economic opportunity, racial harmony, hope  for the family and joy in the community.

History

EFCWA Hope Academy was established by the Lord Pastor Titus Davis and his Wife Dorcas Davis for His glory in 2006 right after the civil unrest in Monrovia.
Many Children were not attending school in the neighborhoods because Parents/Guardians were struggling and could not afford high tuition charged by schools.
Today meet this need of education, the school was established to give children education, a hope in Christ and a future. We pursue Academic Excellence and Spiritual Transformation.
We do not turn away a child because of the lack of tuition. Our tuition is affordable for everyone. We give God the glory for everything. God in different ways has drawn people to grow His work for His glory.

I want to warmly welcome you to our school year and years to come.  As the principal, it is my sincere pleasure to work with you (CYGEC IT SOLUTIONS, INC.) and your dedicated staff and community to help provide an excellent educational experience for our students, staff and parents. We are committed to ensuring that you will receive the best support, as we collaborate to help our students learn and grow.

My vision for Hope Academy is to provide students with an educational experience that inspires and motivates them to be lifelong learners and caring contributors to our beloved Country (Liberia) and the world around them. Our goal is to provide a nurturing environment that meets the individual needs of each student, both academically, biblically as well as socially.
On behalf of the Staff at Hope Academy, I am happy to welcome you to the School.
We are looking forward to a productive partnership with you to ensure our children can achieve their highest potential. We recognize that to be successful in school, our children need support from both home and school. We know a strong partnership with you will make a significant difference in your Child’s education.
As partners, we share the responsibility for our Children’s success and want you to know that we will do our very best to carry out our responsibilities.

We ask that you guide and support your Child’s learning by ensuring that he/she:

  • Attends school daily and arrives on time, ready for the day’s learning experience.
  • Complete all homework/assignment given by teachers.
  • Reads daily to develop a love for reading and to improve literary skills.
  • Inform you if he/she needs additional support in any area or subject.

We are happy to inform you about the significant success in the West African Examination Council (WAEC) by our Students in Grade 3, Grade 6, and Grade 9.

This came because of numerous interventions, teamwork and diligence by Staff. It is hoped that this standard will not only be maintained but improved upon as we promote and celebrate excellence through determination and hard work.

The school has an improve behavior management system and this is supposed to help the Children to show excellent attitude towards learning and other people.
